Liz has over 15 years experience in the health care industry bringing to MediciGlobal unique insights into patient advocacy.  As a Clinical Research Ambassador, her primary commitment is to the patient, striving to preserve their health and safety through knowledge and empowerment.  She assists patients by guiding them through the pre-screening process, and matching them to clinical research centers for medical follow up. Her nursing and health education skills play a critical role in this process.

Prior to joining MediciGlobal, Ms. Ott served as a utilization review nurse and clinical appeals specialist at Cigna Healthcare. In this role she worked across many therapeutic areas.  Her career led her to IMS Health as a medical coder and pharmaceutical data analyst where she gained insight into the pharmaceutical industry.  Through all of her experience, she has sustained an overarching goal; maintaining communication with patients that guide them through the medical process, helping them to understand their unique medical conditions, increasing patient compliance, and ultimately improving medical outcomes.

Liz Ott respects the important role played by health care professionals and works to facilitate cooperative liaisons.  This is highly important in her role as Clinical Research Ambassador. Ms. Ott liaises between patients considering clinical trial participation and study sites, and ensures that patients receive the respect and dignity they deserve, and that all personal medical information remains private and confidential.
