Challenge

  • At a global Investigator meeting in Monte Carlo, Monaco, the sponsor needed to educate and focus 400 Investigators and study coordinators, on the challenges and solutions for subject retention.

Solutions

  • A highly creative workshop that leveraged Monaco’s Grand Prix theme, involved PIs and their study coordinators to compete in country teams, and compete against the clock, to demonstrate their protocol understanding and knowledge and application of patient retention best practices.

Result

  • Attending Investigator’s from around the world ranked this Investigator’s meeting as the most creative and dynamic meetings they had ever attended. Motivated Investigator ‘country’ teams commenced the study on schedule and patient retention rates improved. Participant evaluations unanimously scored this workshop as “outstanding.”

Project Scope: This global study required Study Coordinators and Investigators from 27 countries to make subject retention a priority thereby minimizing further subject loss over the following 2-years.
