MediciGlobal

Owen is the Senior Manager of Application Development in the US office of MediciGlobal, the global leader in marketing clinical trials directly to patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.  Owen brings over 15 years of programming and web development expertise as well as project management and customer service experience to the MediciGlobal team.

Owen communicates with executive and project management staff to provide the technical insight needed to develop requirements for new projects and to analyze and improve ongoing projects. Since joining Medici, Owen has planned and lead development of a multi-tier software framework to overhaul our in house software packages for security and consistency.  He has also implemented a significant software redesign of our web and phone based screener system.  Owen and his team are currently in the process of architecting version 6 of our StudyCoordinator.net and StudySponsor.net portals and the central SMART reporting system and database.  Owen is also a member of the IT Disaster Recovery and Computer Systems Risk Assessment committees.

Prior to joining MediciGlobal, Owen has managed various IT teams with the goal of creating elegant solutions for businesses in the areas of marketing and finance.  During the course of his career he has touched upon many aspects of IT and programming, ranging from database administration and analysis to internet marketing and usability testing, giving him a balanced view of how to effectively and advantageously use technology for businesses.
