Call Center Representative

The dynamic and talented person in this position handles inbound and outbound calls from within our ProtoCall Communications Center while also assisting the Study Resource Center team with various pull through activities and administrative tasks.


Position Summary: The dynamic and talented person in this position handles inbound and outbound calls from within the MediciGlobal’s ProtoCall Communications Center while also assisting the Study Resource Center team with various pull through activities and administrative tasks. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Utilize resources that describe services and benefits to the patient to over come barriers or hesitations with participating in moving forward in the screening process of the trial.
•  Act as the help desk resource for StudyCoordinator.net.
•  Coordinate with site support team members for follow through on site’s requests.
•  Explain the clinical trial process or study information to potential subjects
•  Deliver scripted study information to potential subjects
•  Adjust scripted message to meet needs of specific situation
•  Handle subjects questions
•  Obtain subjects information including names and addresses
•  Record subjects answers to scripted screener in online database
•  Receive queries over the telephone
•  Input subject data into the computer system
•  Record details of all transactions in company database
•  Obtain / Verify contact details of subjects
•  Schedule appointments for subjects with clinical study sites
•  Conduct marketing surveys
•  Answer telephone calls from subjects who are responding to advertisements
•  Contact subjects to follow up on initial interaction
•  Attend all HIPAA training and ensure proper patient privacy protocol is maintained at all times.
•  Ability to follow and utilize SOP’s while also updating when needed.

Additional Responsibilities
•  Assist with various marketing projects.
•  Assist with mailroom and shipping functions.
•  Assist with various office support duties or ad hoc duties, as requested.

Work Requirements:
•  Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends as required to appropriately staff Call Center during advertising campaigns and expected high call volume times.  Must speak fluent English.

Qualifications:
•  Prior successful experience in telemarketing and/or call center environment is required.
•  Degree in nursing, inside sales and/or marketing desirable.
•  Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
•  Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
•  Clinical Trial knowledge desired.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access etc.
